Energy Recovery / Heat Pumping
The successful development of Separation Design Group's innovative rotating heat exchangers is expected to establish this technology in the rapidly growing and critically important field of waste energy recovery. Reductions in materials and manufacturing costs will make it practical to capture useful energy from low grade thermal sources. Widespread market acceptance of inexpensive, point-of-use energy recovery systems will, in turn, help maintain the competitive advantage of industrial, commercial, and manufacturing sectors, especially in the northern latitudes where the cost of heating make-up air puts many operators at a competitive disadvantage. Environmental benifits will accrue from both the reduced release of waste heat on-site, and reduced greenhouse gas production through avoided energy production off-site.
